Downtown Library Damaged by Storms

The storms here in Louisville today have left people stranded in vehicles on roadways, shut down multiple roadways, and flooded houses and a building of great importance here in Louisville.
Individuals have found difficulty navigating around the area as major roads, and even a major interstate has been shut down.
People pushing vehicles, wading in water, and creeping through crowded areas is a common site throughout the region.
WHAS 11 is currently reporting that the Louisville Public Library, located on York Street downtown has suffered water damage. Books and various other goods has been destroyed. There is also reported six feet of water in the garage area there.
