Character Lessons for Louisville Cardinals?

Steve Kragthorpe, head coach of the University of Louisville football team, is a man that builds character and truly believes that character off the field is transferable to playing capability on the field, according to an author who knew Kragthorpe previous to Kragthorpe’s hire by Louisville.
In the book “Lessons From A Third Grade Dropout”, Dr. Rick Rigsby not only mentions Mr. Steve Kragthorpe in the introduction of the book, but quotes Steve Kragthorope in a chapter dealing with character.
According to Dr. Rigsby, Mr. Kragthorpe is a man who teaches character off the field and demands it on the field.
This could be good news for the future of the Cardinal players as in previous years, particularly under the coaching of Bobby Petrino, many players were in trouble with the law for various violations, and many rumors abounded regarding various players’ levels of integrity.
Though Dr. Rigsby does provide encouraging words with his enlightenment of Mr. Kragthorpe’s character lessons, many Cardinal football fans have been upset that the Cardinals have yet to experience the success once enjoyed by previous coaches John L. Smith and Bobby Petrino. Interestingly enough, both of those coaches left Louisville in a great deal of controversy, and have had rocky careers since leaving.
